Le Zheng was born in Shanghai, China. Starting from a young age, he studied violia and violin under the concertmaster of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. At the age of twelve, Mr. Zheng started getting involved in his family’s violin business, and his father mentored him and taught him all about the string instruments and instrument repair.
In 1987, Mr. Zheng came to America in order to further his knowledge and experience. He has studied under Hans Nebel, Horst Kloss, Lynn Hannings, and OK Kyun Kim. In 1996, Mr. Zheng established his first violin business in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2012, Mr. Zheng participated in an International Violin Making Competition. Out of 150 participants from all around the world, he ranked in the top 20 finalists.
