Language & Culture Classes
The Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on conversational Chinese, so the emphasis is on speaking and understanding. We enforce vocabulary and concepts learned in class through Chinese songs and games.
A special program of the Morning Star Chinese Academy, Hand in Hand’s bilingual language class is designed for children with no Chinese language background at home.
Cultural Themes
The classes have culture based themes that change every month and class activities are centered around them. Themes may include Chinese musical instruments, holidays, calligraphy, art, and games. For a list of themes for each month, see our calendar.
