The following are songs we learned in class, songs from dance class and other popular Chinese songs. To listen, just click on the icon. To download the Windows Media Audio (.wma) format file and save it to your computer, right mouse click on the link and select “Save Target As…” You can then choose where on your computer to save the link.

	Rattle Drum – 拨浪鼓 (Bo Lang Gu) – The song that we use for our Chinese Folk Dance class. The lyrics are about playing and having fun with her little sister and family. Sung by 赵薇 (Vicky Zhao), the song is from a very popular movie-series in China that she starred in called 还珠格格 (Princess Huan Zhu). Very funny; one of my favorites!
	Hiding the Handkerchief – 丢手绢 (Diu Shou Juan) – “Hiding the Handkerchief” is a game that we play in dance class. It is the Chinese equivalent of “Duck, Duck, Goose” but instead of tapping the person on the head, you put a handkerchief behind the person’s back. The kids LOVE playing this game!
	Happy New Year – 新年好 (Xin Nian Hao) – song that we learned around Chinese New Year
	Jasmine – 茉莉花 (Mo Li Hua) – Probably one of the most famous Chinese songs. Definitely one that every Chinese person would know and recognize.
